The shoe files

Shoes. How can a female honestly put in words the love affairs that are had on regular occasions as each new seasons shoes are released. There is something about slipping your foot in to that perfectly shaped heel or wedge and squealing with delight as you stand up and realise you have found another perfect pair. I have been pouring through all the collections that are being strutted down the cat walk at New York fashion week and it was this which actually inspired me to go and find a new perfect pair of shoes for Spring. With colour blocking dominating Spring trends at the moment I wanted a high heel (preferably a wedge) that would compliment any of my outfits as the months are getting warmer. I found that shoe in the 'Kortina' by Tony Bianco. I have featured her in the top photo - and am now waiting with anticipation for the beautiful box carrying my new treasures to arrive in the post. Here are some of Tony Bianco's other amazing shoes which are so hot for Spring with their colour blocking inspiration.

[ Fairfax ]

[ Majorca ]

[ Milly ]

[ Pacific - Sky Suede ]

  1. I simply adore the color of the shoe you're oh-so-eagerly awaiting in the mail. The other shoes are lovely, too, but I'm smitten with your choice. :) Hope your week is off to a fabulous start down under, Anna!

  7. wow love these shoes esp the lime green wedged platforms! I'm a big fan of color blocking, really allows people to break away from their color comfort zones and think more out of the box.

  32. Thanks girls - they are all gorgeous aren't they! I think our hardest decisions in life are sometimes the purchases we have to buy and the beautiful items we have to leave behind!! Glad you enjoyed them all :)

@Belinda - HOW have I never heard that quote before?? So fantastic. Suffice to say when I get stopped in the corridor now at work and people go "god how do you wear them all day" (in relation to my 7" work heels) my response is 'the higher the heel the closer I am to God' :) xx

@Amuseabout - I agree, and I think as time goes on we'll find even more things we've in common with one another.
