Remember how I said that Mr M & I have said no more big social outings until Europe? Well, that statement lasted all of 4 days. This past weekend saw us out drinking and eating Friday, Saturday and Sunday with some of our nearest and dearest and I couldn't have enjoyed myself anymore if I tried. Life just fits at the moment and luckily I have never ever been one of those people to believe that not all good things last or that 'something will go wrong because things are to perfect'. Nope. I believe that if we think good things and radiate positivity you will attract that right back. I do however feel I am in the craziest time vortex at the moment - like days are whizzing past faster and faster as Europe gets closer but at the same time, it feels like we're in slow motion. It's officially 44 days until we're on a big jet plane headed towards lands and adventures unknown and Mr M & I couldn't be more excited or overwhelmed with what we're about to embark on. Here is this weeks round up of what is keeping me forever inspired from Pinterest - you can follow my boards here.
This look rocks casual style perfection for me from the hair right down to the ripped jeans. Love it all
I spend a lot of time in my study at home (or as I like to call it my inspiration room) so am forever on the look out for gorgeous style ideas to jazz up my room - this all white look with same sized framed photos taking up a whole wall (not to mention the dainty flowers and gorgeous chandelier) is my idea of office heaven.
I truly believe this with my whole being - how incredibly lucky we are that we're alive, but this is a beautiful and simple reminder
I have just been gifted a guacamole recipe from Mr M's grandma and I can't wait to try it out so when I saw this recipe I knew I had to give it a go. Bruschetta is one of my favs so I think with home made guacamole, it would be next level
Scrabble is a big part of my family's holiday memories so as soon as I saw these I knew I had to bookmark them to make when I get some time. I just loved this idea
great inspirations!!! guacamole on a bruschetta sounds intriguing, will definitely try it out as I'm a huge bruschetta fan !

As I see I´m not the only one who can´t keep any resolution I make :D It´s always perfect to spend time with friends laughing and so on :) The outfit is great. I have a crush on leather jacket paired with simple tee and jeans. I hope you´re doing fine now that it´s Monday again.

ReplyDeleteLOVE bruschetta!
ReplyDeleteNo matter how much you can try deny yourself going out, you're a social person & if you're still saving a decent amount every week for your holiday, why not enjoy the time until then? Life itself should be a holiday :) Enjoy it all! x
Ahhh lovely you already know me too well! haha - turns out when I say no more social outings (or big ones) they miraculously pop up in my diary...but what you said actually reallyyyy resonated with me - Life itself SHOULD be a holiday, I shouldnt be waiting for Europe to keep being loud & fun, it has to happen 365 days a year :)

44 days - how amazing! You must be getting beyond excited! I hope you'll be posting (a little bit maybe? but no pressure) so we can all live vicariously. Loving that photo wall idea - one day I'll have a space big enough to put that on one of my walls!
ReplyDeleteI love the scrabble tile coasters. What a great idea! Especially if you have sets lying around the place without all the tiles!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a wonderful blog.
